Accurate and stable imaging

Kodak square spot imaging technology is the standard configuration of all super large format direct plate making machines. It can automatically compensate the thermal expansion and contraction of printing plates, and achieve accurate and consistent imaging between printing plates and devices. Square light dot technology also makes it possible for Kodak to apply square screening, which will eliminate moire, improve image fidelity, and ensure excellent color tone and color consistency throughout the printing process.

Powerful automation

With Chaosheng VLF, you can load plates faster, reduce plate processing, and run for a long time when nobody is on duty. Continuous loading is a standard configuration: when one printing plate is imaged, the second one is in standby state, and when ready, it will be automatically loaded. The multi plate feeding unit can accommodate up to 300 plates, and each version box can accommodate up to 75 plates with thin backing paper. You can reload the plate into the empty master box while the master making machine is running. Chaosheng provides groundbreaking automation technology: it will automatically select the required version box, and with the help of an automatic card loader, the plate making machine can directly receive the printing plate from the transport card. The card loader can accommodate up to 6 card plates (600 printing plates respectively), so even though the usage is high, the operator does not have to transport the printing plates.

Chaosheng ultra large format direct plate making machine has a fully integrated punching device, and provides three-point registration function to eliminate registration errors.

Higher accuracy: temperature compensation system

In order to improve the level of fitting and registration on the printing machine, the unique temperature compensation system can adjust the ambient temperature changes and correct the expansion and contraction of the printing plate. The system also reduces the number of plates wasted.
