This is the first article in our “MeasureColor Practical Applications” blog series, which will introduce key features to help you achieve smarter and more efficient print production.

MeasureColor’s intuitive user interface accelerates printing decisions.

In today’s printing industry, finding skilled printer operators is more challenging than ever. At the same time, production environments are becoming increasingly complex—often integrating multiple printing processes as well as a wide variety of printer brands and models. For this very reason, intuitive and user-friendly tools are no longer just a nice-to-have; they’ve become an absolute necessity.

The intuitive user interface of MeasureColor Designed specifically to simplify the printing workshop experience. It integrates powerful color science and real-time insights into a simple, consistent, and workflow-agnostic interface. Whether you’re managing flexographic, offset, or digital printing presses, MeasureColor can help simplify production planning. Empowering operators to make decisions faster and with greater confidence.
MeasureColor is specifically designed to meet the real-world demands of today’s printing workshops; it... Capable of adapting to various printing processes. — Whether you’re working with images, quality inspection targets, or complete process-control color bars. The interface adjusts automatically to display only the information most relevant to each workflow. Eliminate clutter and confusion.

Intuitive visual cues convey rich information.
MeasureColor transforms complex color data into simple and intuitive symbols:
● ✅ Green checkmark All indicators meet the standards.

● ⬆️ Upward arrow Increase the ink film thickness.

● ⬇️ Downward arrow Reduce the ink film thickness.

● ⚠️ Warning sign There may be an issue with the ink formulation.
For the digital printing process, “hand over” Through-light type The view is revolutionary. It helps operators instantly determine whether a correction requires only a minor adjustment or calls for an upgrade, thereby saving precious preparation time and reducing waste.

Integrated control panel

From dot gain and gray balance to barcode readability and ink area control, MeasureColor puts all the key elements at your fingertips. Operators can:
● View measurement scores and printing run trends.

● Export the data to the ink mixing software.

● Create a CTP compensation curve.

● Monitor visual defects and registration accuracy.

A touch experience optimized for the printing workshop

The large buttons and large icons make MeasureColor an ideal choice for touchscreen operation— No keyboard or mouse required This design choice enhances usability, allowing operators to focus on the core tasks: Print quality

A Smarter Approach to Color Correction

Traditionally, color correction on printing presses has required extensive trial and error. Operators often rely on DeltaE values to assess color differences, but these values alone cannot reveal the full extent of the issues. Is the color too dark? Too red? Or too green? DeltaE cannot answer these questions.
This is exactly MeasureColor's ChromaTrack technology The game-changer. It employs Best Match Prediction Model Directly guide the operator to the correct correction solution—whether it’s a simple density adjustment or a thorough change in the ink formulation.

ChromaTrack no longer wastes time and materials; instead, it... Clearly displays the current location as well as the fastest way to achieve the color target. Operators can even export measured colors as CxF files and import them into ink formulation software for precise adjustments.
Both paper and ink are relatively expensive; therefore, color control strips should generally occupy as little space as possible. Any information that is crucial for print operators to control quality should be squeezed into the color control strip as much as possible. Given the relatively simple design described above, how can we modify the pattern to accommodate these six additional elements? (Remember: our ink-key width requires one solid color per ink unit per ink key, and a single ink-key width can only hold eight elements!)

What are the results? Efficiency improved, costs reduced.

Leveraging ChromaTrack and the comprehensive MeasureColor ecosystem:
● Shorter proofreading time

● Reduced waste

● Improved color consistency

● Meet or even exceed customer expectations
